UNION GROVE, Wis. (Jan. 30)—Rubber roller industry leader American Roller Co. has been purchased by a Chicago private equity firm, moved its corporate headquarters to a company site in southeastern Wisconsin and established a new executive team. The acquisition of American Roller by CM Acquisitions L.L.C. was completed Dec. 31. The 64-year-old company, which has been based in Chicago suburb Bannockburn, Ill., will keep its name but move its headquarters as of Feb. 4 to Union Grove, located just over the Illinois border. American Roller already houses administrative offices, an 18,000-sq.-ft. research and development center and three production facilities at the Wisconsin site, the company said.
