AKRON—Goodyear has named Dipinder Singh director of global market intelligence and strategy.
Singh—who has more than 15 years´ experience in marketing strategy, brand management, advertising, market research and international marketing—will be responsible for the tire maker´s global marketing research efforts.
Singh joined Goodyear from adAlive, a Waltham, Mass.-based developer of Internet access systems for personal digital assistant devices. He co-founded the firm in 2000 and served as executive vice president for marketing and business development.
Before that, he spent five years as a management consultant with Monitor Co. in Cambridge, Mass.
