LONG BEACH, Calif. (Dec. 28)—Michelin Aircraft Tire Corp. will supply nose and main gear tires to Advanced Aerodynamics & Structures Inc. for it new Jetcruzer 500 aircraft. Each Jetcruzer requires three tires utilizing aviation technology for greater wearability, puncture resistance and weight efficiency, according to Advanced Aerodynamics. The Jetcruzer is a high-speed single engine, corporate propjet aircraft that can accommodate seating for six people, including the pilot. It can cruise at speeds of 345 miles per hour at altitudes of up to 30,000 feet. Michelin Aircraft, a subsidiary of Michelin North America Inc., manufactures tires for virtually every type of aircraft, including military, commercial, general aviation, corporate and regional.
