AKRON (Dec. 20)—Goodyear has increased its ownership of the Goodyear Engineered Products Europe d.o.o. joint venture in Kranj, Slovenia, to 100 percent, buying Sava Group's 25-percent share for an undisclosed price. Goodyear bought 75 percent of the Sava operation in 1997 to establish a production base in Europe for industrial products, such as hose, belts and air springs. The deal transpired after Sava exercised its option to sell the stake, Goodyear said.
