NORWALK, Conn.-R.T. Vanderbilt Co. Inc. is reorganizing its sales and marketing department, creating three market-driven global business units-rubber and plastics, minerals, and petroleum.
Kenneth H. Kelly, vice president and general manager, sales and marketing, will oversee the three divisions. He has spent 13 years with the firm´s Rubber & Plastics Department in sales and management posts.
Jack Hattendorf, Randy Johnson and Shaun King were named to lead the new units. Hattendorf, vice president and global business manager, lubricant additives, has held a variety of positions during his 22 years with the company´s Petroleum Department, most recently as manager of the domestic segment. Johnson, vice president and global business manager, minerals, has managed the Ceramics Department and lately the entire domestic minerals business. King, global business manager, rubber and plastics, has held posts in the quality and sales departments and most recently was manager of a polymer distribution business segment.
Additional reorganization-related appointments include John Brinkmann, senior vice president, international sales; John Benton, managing director of the firm´s Paris office; and Wayne Vanderhoof, manager, West Coast sales.
R.T. Vanderbilt also named three technical sales representatives. Eric Johnson will cover sales for the Rubber and Plastics Department in Michigan and Indiana; John Deas will handle Rubber and Plastics Department sales in the Southeastern states; and Alan Anderson will cover sales for the Petroleum Department in the Midwest.
