DENVER (Dec. 4)—Gates Corp. has agreed to sell a 50-acre portion of its Denver campus to Cherokee Investment Partners. The sale—which includes all of Gates' property west of Denver's Broadway Ave.—is the largest sale of land in the city's metropolitan area in many years, according to Gates. Cherokee, a private equity investment fund, will use the site to develop a strategically placed urban, mixed-use transit-oriented development, Gates said. The land sale is expected to close Dec. 18.
