AKRON (Dec. 3)—Goodyear announced several management shifts Nov. 30 within its North American Tire business unit to oversee its new focus on distinct segments. Jim Vogel, previously vice president of sales and channel management, has been appointed vice president of Consumer Tires and will manage the replacement side of the business. Bryan Kinnamon, vice president of original equipment tires, will continue to oversee the consumer OE side. Ted Fick, former executive vice president of Hino Diesel Truck Inc., was brought in by Goodyear as vice president, Commercial Systems, and will oversee commercial OE and replacement business. Mark Pillow, previously marketing director of farm tires, has been named director of the Farm Tires segment, and John Peer will continue as director of Retail Operations. In addition, John Loulan, previously vice president of manufacturing for North American Tire, has taken on the new position of vice president of operations. He will be responsible for manufacturing, production planning, logistics and purchasing.
