LANCASTER, Pa. (Nov. 26)—Dodge-Regupol Inc., which claims to be North America's largest manufacturer of recycled rubber products, has added 140,000 square feet of factory space at its Lancaster headquarters. The expansion includes 90,000 square feet of scrap rubber processing space and 50,000 square feet of warehousing. This new space will pave the way for a pending new Regupol production line which will more than double production of the company's ECOsurfaces commercial flooring, Regupol sound impact reduction insulation and other specialty products, the company said in a news release. Founded in 1989 as a joint venture between Dodge Cork Co. and the German firm BSW, Dodge-Regupol has grown to 150 employees and a 450,000-sq.-ft. facility from its founding total of 32 employees and 80,000 square feet, according to the company. Dodge-Regupol said its revenues have grown an average of 28 percent annually over the last decade, but didn't offer exact figures.
