HOUSTON (Nov. 14)—Koch Industries Inc. has completed a deal to take full ownership of KoSa, the polyester yarn, polymers and intermediates producer. Wichita, Kan.-base Koch Industries, an international trading and investment group, bought out the 50-percent ownership stake previously held by Mexico's Imasab S.A. de C.V. Koch and Imasab jointly bought the former Celanese business in 1998 from Germany's Hoechst A.G. Terms of the deal—being carried out by Koch International Equity Investments B.V. and Koch Equities Inc.—weren't disclosed. KoSa´s global headquarters will remain in Houston and its regional headquarters will stay in Charlotte, N.C.; Frankfurt, Germany; and Mexico.
