TROY, Mich. (Nov. 7)—The Original Equipment Suppliers Association has elected Alan S. Dawes, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Delphi Automotive Systems Corp., as chairman of the group next year. Dawes replaces Joseph C. Day, Freudenberg-NOK G.P. chairman and CEO, who has held the position since 1999. William J. Carroll, president of Dana Corp.'s Automotive Systems Group, and Lawrence A. Denton, president of Dow Automotive, were elected vice chairmen by OESA members. New directors elected to the board include Bill Kozyra, president of Continental Teves, and Kurt Liedtke, chairman and CEO of Robert Bosch Corp.
