OAKDALE, Minn. (Nov. 1)—Dyneon L.L.C. said it will open a fluoroelastomers technology center in Shanghai, China, to serve its business in the Asia Pacific region. The company said the multimillion-dollar investment will help the company's fluoroelastomer business to grow in the region, and allow it to provide full-service support for all its business units in the area. The center will give customers increased opportunity for product specification, testing and prototyping services, the firm said. Yong Li, regional manager, Dyneon Asia Pacific, will head the center.
