WASHINGTON (Oct. 30)—Nissan North America Inc. is recalling 115,000 Nissan Sentras, model years 2000 and 2001, because burrs in the steel wheels may cause cracks between the cooling holes, possibly causing the wheels to separate from the vehicles. Also, Bayerische Motoren Werke is recalling 1,090 1999 BMW R1100 S motorcycles because the flexible fuel hoses can chafe against the fuel feeds, causing fuel leakage and possible fires.
