WOOD DALE, Ill. (Oct. 25)—Starlinger North America Inc., subsidiary of Ternitz, Austria-based rubber injection molder supplier Maplan GmbH, is moving its headquarters to a new 20,000-sq.-ft. facility to increase capacity and improve its building capabilities. The new site, located about 10 minutes away from its current Wood Dale headquarters in Hanover Park, Ill., will include a multimillion-dollar expandable facility, said Starlinger president David Duginski. The firm will utilize about 12,000 square feet, sharing the rest of the space with Austrian sister companies Starlinger & Co. and SML Lenzing. Ground was broken at the site on June 19. It will be completed sometime in the fourth quarter or early first quarter of 2002. The Hanover Park location will house Starlinger's corporate headquarters, plus administrative, marketing and technical support operations for Maplan rubber injection presses imported from Austria and Germany.
