WILMINGTON, Del. (Oct. 25)—Advanced Polymer Alloys and Caldwell Industries have formed a partnership allowing Louisville, Ky.-based Caldwell to extrude APA's Alcryn-brand melt-processible rubber, making it available in thick-sheet form for the first time. The agreement gives die cutters, laminators and thermoformers commercial access to Wilmington-based APA's MPR in the extruded sheet form, the company said. Once extruded, the MPR sheet can be used to create rubber parts for the health-care, automotive, heavy-vehicle and aerospace industries, APA said.
