AKRON (Oct. 22)—Kip Tobin, president of Centrotrade Rubber USA in Akron and of the Rubber Trade Association of North America, will leave both organizations as of Nov. 1. An Oct. 4 letter to Centrotrade customers said Tobin will "pursue other career opportunities." Centrotrade's dry and latex rubber operations will be combined at its offices in Virginia Beach, Va., with D. Thomas Marsh, former president of Centrotrade's Latex Division, serving as president of the entire business. Marsh said Tobin made known earlier this year his intention to leave the natural rubber business. There was no word on whom will take over the RTANA presidency, but the association's elections are scheduled for December, Marsh said. Tobin could not be reached for comment.
