DIXVILLE NOTCH, N.H. (Oct. 18)—Neil Tillotson, a pioneer in the latex glove industry; the head of Tillotson Corp., several rubber plantations and numerous other businesses; and the first person to vote in presidential elections every four years, died Oct. 17 at the age of 102. Tillotson, who was selected as the Rubber Industry Executive of the Year last year, had been in and out of the hospital since June after he suffered an infection, the first prolonged illness he had during his life. The entrepreneur, inventor and successful businessman actively ran Tillotson Corp. for 70 years until his death. He launched his company during the Great Depression making and selling toy balloons that he turned into a global giant as a manufacturer of rubber gloves and other rubber products.
