The Cryogenic Cooling System from Davis-Standard Corp. and Material Enhancement Inc. eliminates contamination from water immersion or spray systems by using gasified liquid nitrogen to cool elastomer profiles, hoses, weatherstripping and insulated wire and cable. Designed with double-walled stainless steel, the system injects nitrogen into the chamber, allows it to flash to a gas and mixes with air circulated at subsonic speeds, cooling products in a few seconds, the firms said.
