GREENVILLE, S.C. (Sept. 13)—Michelin North America Inc. has begun donating round-the-clock, on-site tire service, technical support and up to $250,000 in tires for emergency vehicles of all types involved in the recovery efforts in New York. The tire maker is moving an on-site service truck to the crisis area where it will remain 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all emergency vehicles involved in the recovery process. Tires included are heavy construction, earthmover, fire engine, ambulance, police and a variety of other support vehicles. "Michelin North America is committed to providing the emergency crews working in the Manhattan crisis area the full resources and expertise of our company," Chairman and President Jim Micali said.
