WAUKESHA, Wis. (Sept. 13)—The National Industrial Belting Association Board of Directors has canceled the group's 2001 Annual Convention scheduled for Sept.14-19 in San Antonio, Texas. The Board cited the "continuing uncertainty of reasonable air travel" due to Sept. 11's terrorist attacks in the U.S. as prompting the cancellation. There was no further comment as to whether the group will reschedule the event.
