AKRON (Sept. 12)—Goodyear's three blimps have been grounded until the Federal Aviation Administration has determined it is safe for them to fly again. One blimp, the Stars & Stripes, was covering the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament prior to the attacks and is grounded in New Jersey. "Our entire organization is on alert," a Goodyear spokesman said. "We've heightened security and have advised international locations to let us know what's going on in other countries. Our headquarters and all our plants are open but all are taking precautions."
