AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Sept. 5)—Hutchinson Sealing Systems Inc. is doubling the size of the sealing plant it acquired as part of its January purchase of Iacesa in Celaya, Mexico, from the conglomerate Groupe Tebo. Hutchinson has begun construction to double the size of the existing 35,000-sq.-ft. plant and will add to its 120 employees as needed, said President Brian Benninger. When the facility is complete, Hutchinson will transfer existing sealing production for General Motor Corp.'s Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire to the expanded site from Newfields, N.H.
