WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (Sept. 4)—The American Society for Testing and Materials Committee F03 on Gaskets has formed a Standards Coordination and Globalization Initiative Subcommittee F03.96 to increase global participation in the development of gaskets standards. Committee F03 activities promote globally viable standards that characterize the properties of commercial gasket materials for transportation and industrial applications. The new subcommittee will begin a strategic initiative this month for increased global participation. Those interested in participating will assist in the development of gasket standards with more than 80 international members from eight countries, the ASTM said.
