WASHINGTON (Aug. 30)—Pirelli Tire Corp. has recalled 9,993 Desert Dog LT247/75R16 radial tires manufactured between December 1998 and March 2000. Variability in component adhesion during production could cause partial tread separation and loss of air in use, the tire maker told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
