WOBURN, Mass (Aug. 21)—Polyurethane product maker CardioTech International Inc. recorded a 95-percent jump in sales to $817,000 for the second quarter, up from $420,000 in the like 2000 period. However, the company had a net loss of $212,000 for the quarter, a marked improvement from the $458,000 loss the company suffered last year. Included in the results are some earnings from Catheter and Disposable Technology Inc., which was recently purchased by CardioTech.
