SENATOBIA, Miss. (Aug. 16)—Carlisle SynTec Inc. has finished an expansion of its Senatobia thermoplastic olefin roofing membrane facility, a project that has tripled the size of the plant. The Senatobia site spanned 54,500 when it was completed in 1998. But by 2000, Carlisle, Pa.-based Carlisle SynTec had announced its plans to enlarge the facility and increase capacity. The expansion includes additional warehousing and shipping capabilities. SynTec, a subsidiary of Syracuse, N.Y.-based Carlisle Cos. Inc., sees the plant's quick growth as a commitment to the TPO roofing market and its Sure-Weld-brand products.
