AKRON (July 30)—The American Chemical Society Rubber Division has selected its three undergraduate scholarship award winners for 2001-2002. The recipients of the annual award are James Prentis of Macedonia, Ohio; Franklin S. Shuman of Lowell, Mass.; and Matthew Stefanick of Hubbard, Ohio. The $5,000 scholarship awards, initiated in 1998, are granted to cover tuition and various other fees for outstanding junior or senior undergraduates in a technical discipline, the Rubber Division said.
