GREENVILLE, S.C. (July 2)-–Michelin North America Inc. has picked Campbell-Ewald to handle its U.S. Michelin-brand advertising account following an extensive agency review process. Michelin said Detroit-based Campbell-Ewald will assume responsibility immediately for the account, which has an estimated annual billing of about $35 million. The tire maker placed its U.S. Michelin-brand account in review earlier this year after a significant shift in the Michelin-brand marketing strategy. The account previously was held by DDB Worldwide of New York.
