SOUTH BEND, Ind. (June 22)—Clean Seal Inc. has constructed a 72,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility, replacing an adjacent 43,000-sq.-ft. plant, and added some machinery to match the strong growth it has experienced during the last several years. It's the company's third expansion in the last 10 years. About 7,500 square feet of the new site is devoted to production and about 49,000 square feet is used for warehousing rubber seals the firm manufactures. Clean Seal, in business since 1978, is a maker of rubber gaskets, seals and weatherstripping in a variety of profile shapes for original equipment manufacturers and fabricators.
