LONDON (June 19)—Alexandria Carbon Black has added a $210,000 material handling system near Antwerp, Belgium, to facilitate the Egyptian company's extension of carbon black distribution across Europe. BMH Chronos Richardson Ltd. said its Weighing and Batching Group installed a turnkey outloading system at the Alexandria Carbon Black warehouse in Rumst, Belgium. The system can handle as much as 20 metric tons per hour of carbon black, which is decanted into road tankers.
