NORCROSS, Ga. (June 18)—SSL Americas Inc.'s Regent Medical Americas division has signed a three-year pact to supply powder-free latex and non-latex surgical gloves for distribution by Broadlane Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Regent Medical will produce Biogel surgical gloves for about 572 acute care hospitals and 2,335 non-acute health care facilities, a Regent Medical spokeswoman said. Broadlane is a leader in delivering supply chain services to the health care industry. Its services include group purchasing, procurement strategy and outsourcing. The supplier's customer base includes Tenet Healthcare Corp., Kaiser Permanente, Universal Health Services, Community Health Systems, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Continuum Health Partners. It has offices in SanFrancisco, Calif., and Dallas, Texas.
