AKRON (June 11)—Goodyear's Engineered Products unit is relocating its air springs assembly operation from its Green, Ohio, plant to an existing operation in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The move, to be made in October, will affect more than 60 salaried and hourly workers in Green. The Ohio facility currently assembles materials produced at the San Luis Potosi facility into air springs used on truck and bus suspension systems. Goodyear will keep its air springs technical center in Green.
