JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (June 7)—Stark County, Ohio, commissioners June 5 approved a 10-year, 50-percent tax abatement for Tristan Rubber Molding Inc.'s plan to build a new manufacturing facility, according to a report from The (Massillon, Ohio) Independent. Tristan will begin construction in July of its 56,000-sq.-ft. plant and warehouse, to be located at the Akron-Canton Regional Airport Authority business park, and complete the project in about a year, the report said. The facility will cost about $3 million, with total project costs in the $6 million range. The 24-employee firm will add 35-40 full-time production workers and six to 10 office staffers over the next three years, the report said.
