FINDLAY, Ohio (May 31)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. won't be helping Ford Motor Co. to replace the 13 million Firestone Wilderness AT tires it's recalling, according to a Cooper spokeswoman. She said there is no agreement, current or pending, on the recall between Ford and Cooper. "I can't verify whether they approached us, but I can tell you we're dedicating all our production to fulfill our current customer needs, and business is booming," the spokeswoman said. Goodyear said May 30 it expects to replace "the vast majority" of the recalled tires through an agreement with Ford. The auto maker also contacted Michelin North America Inc. and Continental A.G.
