PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (April 27)—A husband and wife team has purchased Molded Dimensions Inc. from Jay E. Meili, who has owned the business since 1969, for an undisclosed amount. Michael G. and Linda S. Katz, with experience at a variety of manufacturing operations in the 1990s, said they bought the rubber and cast urethane components molder to develop it as a family business. Michael Katz will serve as MDI president while Linda Katz will be CEO. Meili will remain with the company for the next five years as technical consultant, working with customers in application engineering areas. Other current management members—Pat Roddy, sales; Dave Hill, plant manager; and Bill Gasper, financial—will remain with the firm.
