PROVIDENCE, R.I. (April 25)—The ACS Rubber Division has signed a lease for new offices on the University of Akron campus, and is waiting for the university's board of trustees to approve the contract. A few minor alterations to the agreement were made by the division, according to Rudy School, division chairman from R.T. Vanderbilt Co. Inc., and the UA board is expected to give final approval to the deal when it meets today. The agreement means the division will take space at the new addition to the Polymer Engineering Academic Center soon after it opens June 8. A organization will begin paying a $1 million donation to the university in increments, as it promised several years ago, in exchange for a permanent home on the campus.
