BURTON-ON-TRENT, England (April 12)—BMH Chronos Richardson Ltd. has entered a contract with the Pirelli Group to supply silo and daybin filler materials to the tire maker´s Burton-on-Trent plant. The contract, valued at about $1.7 million, covers the supply of fillers, polymers, oils and small chemicals, Chronos Richardson said, as well as specifically designed equipment to ensure consistent materials processing. Chronos Richardson´s silica-based compounds will be used in the production of green high-performance and ultra-high-performance passenger tires at the plant.
