MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (April 6)—Uniroyal Chemical said it will boost prices for its rubber chemicals 7-10 percent worldwide as of June 1, or when contacts allow. The Crompton Corp. business blamed rising energy and raw material expenses for the price hike, citing in particular the cost of electricity, benzene, hydrazine, caustic and acetone.
