NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 2)—Pirelli Tire North America will invest about $141 million in its first U.S. Modular Integrated Roboticized System factory, to be located in Rome, Ga. The tire maker said the new factory will open 305 positions over the next several years, producing both original equipment and replacement tires for the U.S. market. The company did not release specifics on a timetable for construction of the site.
