TROY, Mich. (March 29)—Delphi Automotive plans to consolidate nine plants, reduce its workforce by 11,500 through early retirement incentives and exit $900 million worth of non-core businesses over the next year. Delphi will offer the incentives to 120 workers at its Vandalia, Ohio, plant which produces powertrain mounts and brake hose.
