MIDLAND, Mich. (March 15)—Dow Chemical Co. is increasing prices of propylene oxide, propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol by three cents a pound, effective April 1. The hikes were spurred by tight margins because of the high costs for propylene monomer and natural gas, the company said. The PO increase is off-list only, the company said, and for chemical and urethane grades. The PG boost if off-list for direct customers and both list and off-list for distributors.
