WASHINGTON (Feb. 26)—The Rubber Manufacturers Association has joined a business coalition that supports President George W. Bush´s $1.6 trillion tax cut plan. The RMA was one of the first to join the Tax Relief Coalition, which also includes the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Association of Wholesale-Distributors, the National Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "Without question, early adoption of this proposal will provide tax relief to millions of Americans while providing a healthy stimulus for our nation´s economy," wrote Donald B. Shea, RMA president and CEO, in a letter to Bush.
