WASHINGTON (Feb. 20)—Bayerischen Motoren Werke has recalled 1,504 BMW 315i and 335i automobiles because the machine used to mount and inflate the tires at the assembly plant may have damaged the inner rim flanges of the wheels. BMW will inspect the wheels and replace all five if any one is found to be damaged, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
