CHICAGO (Feb. 16)—Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. has created a Web site dedicated to national account and potential business-to-business customers. The new site—www.CompanyCarConnection.com—is designed to make it easier for prospective fleet account customers to sign up with the Bridgestone/Firestone passenger and light truck tire national account sales program, according to W.C. Gates, manager of national account sales. By applying online, customers get almost immediate attention by the appropriate Bridgestone/Firestone account representative. Program features on the site include: pricing information for tires and service; centralized billing; store locator service listing nearly 5,000 locations nationwide, including more than 3,000 independent dealer sites; and nationwide warranties.
