CLEVELAND (Feb. 9)—The Board of Directors of Parker Hannifin Corp. have elected Donald E. Washkewicz to be its new CEO effective July 1, when its current chief, Duane E. Collins, will retire. Washkewicz, who last year was named Parker president and chief operating officer, is a 28-year company veteran and is credited with leading the firm´s foray into thermoplastic products as a young engineer. Collins will remain as chairman of the board.
