CHICAGO (Feb. 8)—The tires on Ford Motor Co.´s F-150 Lightening Rod concept truck fit the image the auto maker intended for the vehicle as a whole. According to Ford, the truck´s "hard-core, tattooed appearance is inspired by the resurgence of rock and roll and the current fascination with body art." The tread on the 20-inch tires resembles the tatoos of the New Zealand Maori tribe. Size 295/40R20 in the front and 305/40R20 in the rear, they give the truck a "hot-rod" feel, Goodyear said.
