LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 19)—The Federal Food and Drug Administration has approved compliance of Zeon Chemicals L.P.´s Zetpol copolymers with all requirements of the agency´s repeated food contact specifications. Approval of the material under the FDA´s newly revised 21 CFR section 177.2600 (c)(4)(i) standards allows for use of Zeptol 0020, 1010, 1020, 2000(L), 2010(H)(L), 2020(L) or 2030L elastomers in rubber components intended for contact with food in repeated use applications, Zeon said.
