WILMETTE, Ill. (Jan. 16)—Specialty Elastomer Group Inc., a combination of four rubber and plastics operations, has formed, and a fifth division created. The new company´s divisions are Anderson Inc. of Toledo, Ohio, specializing in thermoplastic elastomers and thermosetting plastics; Mold-Ex of Milton, Fla., a silicone molder and extruder; Acme Machell of Waukesha, Wis., a rubber molder; and Kitco of Ft. Wayne, Inc., a molder, producer of lathe-cut gaskets and other products. The company also said it has formed Amsed Inc., a minority business enterprise. The divisions serve the automotive, truck, marine, food process and industrial markets, and the company said Specialty Elastomers Group ranks among the U.S. rubber industry´s 75 largest firms.
