TOLEDO, Ohio (Nov. 29)—Dana Corp. said it plans to divest its Quinton Hazell Group, one of the largest independent manufacturers and distributors of automotive aftermarket components in Europe. The business, which Dana acquired with its purchase of Echlin Inc., is "an excellent operation," said Dana Chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti, but non-core to Dana. The England-based group operates 14 facilities in nine countries and posted sales of $275 million last year. Quinton Hazell produces and distributes a variety of brake, electrical, power transmission, steering and suspension components.
