STOCKHOLM, Sweden (From the Nov. 20 issue of Rubber & Plastics News II)—Trelleborg A.B. has agreed to purchase the non-sealing automotive component operations of London-based Laird Group P.L.C. for $146.5 million. The acquisition strengthens Trelleborg´s position as the global leader in automotive antivibration products and systems, while bringing the firm new product lines in fluid systems and noise reduction and giving it access to the French automotive market.
