TOKYO (From the Nov. 20, 2000, issue of Rubber & Plastics News)—Firestone brand replacement passenger and light truck tires sales slumped about 40 percent in the U.S. in September and October compared with the year-earlier months, according to Yoichiro Kaizaki, president of Bridgestone/Firestone Inc.´s parent firm.
